On April 21, 2023 our bright light was taken from this world far too soon. Alicia Hampton was born on December 2, 1984 in Tulsa, OK to Terry and MaryAnn Pace. She had many friends and was well loved by the Grand Lake community. She graduated from Ketchum High School and attended Rogers State University. After schooling, she made her home in Langley and was employed by Arrowhead Yacht Club and Marina working her way up to the club’s executive assistant. She thoroughly enjoyed managing their boat shows and other special events while there.
After 12 years in Langley, she moved to Grove and an opportunity for a position at Patricia Island Country Club and Mulligan’s Restaurant. She successfully advanced to a leadership role as General Manager. While there, she initiated many new events for the residents such as a craft night, golf tournaments, and special holiday events.
She will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to know her. Alicia was a compassionate woman whose passion was helping others. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when her children needed her. Alicia was predeceased by her grandparents Don and Helen Pace and Kenneth and Joan Burkett. She is survived by her three beautiful daughters: Kaylee King age 19, Katelyn King age 16, and Alyssa Hampton age 11. She is also survived by her parents: Terry and MaryAnn Pace; brother Jared Pace and wife Camille with their three children, Blake, Dahlia and Olivia; aunts Donna Thomas and Rhonda Skinner; Brandon King, father of Kaylee and Katelyn, and Tony Hampton, father of Alyssa.
The family wish to extend their special thanks to Alicia’s boss Andy Stewart for all of his support and assistance during this tragic time.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 pm at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home, 918-786-2261, address 711 South Main Street, Grove OK, 74344.
