Allen Craig

Allen S. Craig, 62, a resident of Jay was found on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 after a long search. He was born on April 7, 1944 in Springfield, MO to Roxanna (Deal) Underwood. He graduated from high school in Jones, OK. Mr. Craig joined the United States Air Force were he spent some time over seas as an airplane mechanic. After being honorably discharged he worked as an electrical contractor. He was a member of the American Legion and loved to fish, boat and go to the casinos. Allen is preceded in death by his wife Nadine Craig and a son Terry Craig. Survivors include his mother Roxanna Underwood of Grove, his wife Marian Craig of the home, a son Mark Craig and his wife Amy of Wylie, TX, one grandson Cody Craig and his fiancé Jessica Wallace of Oklahoma City, OK two granddaughters Jessica Craig and Ashley Craig both of Wylie, TX a great-granddaughter Kynzee Craig of Oklahoma City, OK, an aunt and uncle Goldie and Harvey Burch of Sherwood, ND also survive. Other survivors include step children Tina Coleman and her husband Dewane of Magnolia, AR, Teresa Artman and her husband Kevin of Centerton, Ar, Brenda Presley, Bobby Presley and his wife Lynle all of Rogers. Memorial Services will be Friday, February 22, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Butler Baptist Church. The Grove Veteran's Ritual team will perform military rites. The family has asked that memorial contributions be made in the families name at the church or at the funeral home 711 South Main Street, Grove, OK 74344.
