Alvin Estle Mooney 70 year-old well known Disney resident and businessman, died August 2, 2006 at the Craig General Hospital in Vinita. Mr. Mooney was born January 8, 1936 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Alvin and Amy Mooney. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Mr. Mooney worked for the Internal Revenue Service and owned and operated Mooney's Sunset Bar and Grill on Grand Lake near Disney for many years. The surviving family includes: his daughter, Angela Etheridge of Fayetteville, Arkansas, two sons, Scott and Todd Mariner; a niece Cheryl Ennis, nephews Jack and Duane Mooney, Joe and Bob Hamaker; grandchildren Derrick, Rachael, and Zachary Etheridge. Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother Earl Mooney and one sister Evelyn Hamaker. Estle touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by his friends and family. The viewing and visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Chapel in Langley.
