Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-786-3222... Anna Mae Wright, 88 year old Jay, OK, resident passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at her home. Anna was born on April 15, 1927 in Delaware County, OK, to Eli and Polly (Watermelon) Stick. She was the Sunday school clerk for 25 years for Pine Ridge Baptist Church. Anna loved to cook and feed everybody. She was fluent in the Cherokee language. Anna loved gospel singings and going fishing. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Wright; her parents Eli and Polly Stick; three brothers, Cobb Chunstudy, Thomas Chunstudy, and William Stick, one sister, Bessie Thompson, and one grandson, Edward Ben Proctor. She is survived by one daughter, Katie Wright Shell and husband Soldier of Jay, OK; one nephew Adam Stick; three nieces, Lora Fields, Bessie Summerfield, and Ann Cagle; three grandchildren, Kattrina Wright-Loy and Michael Loy of Jay, OK, Polly Allen and Greg 'Porky' of Jay, OK, and George Proctor and Tammy of Jay, OK; nine great grandchildren, Derek, Halee, Todd, Caitlyn, JT, Branden, TJ, Trever, and Crisanna; and numerous other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 12, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Jay, OK. Rev Charles Shell and Rev. JR. Loftis will officiate. Serving as casket bearers will be JR Jumper, Zim Bearpaw, Josh Summerfield, Danny Tanner, Robbie "Bub" Studie and Wayne Bearpaw. Honorary casket bearer will be David Hoskins, Brian Mouse, Bobby Joe Summerfield, Norman Keys, Trenton Nofire, Robin Bearpaw, Anthony Mouse and Jess Mouse. Interment to follow at Jumper Cemetery in Jay, OK. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK.
