Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK 918-786-2261. Lifetime resident of Delaware County, April Annetta "Anita" (Jackson) Reid, 60, died on November 28, 2015 in Joplin, Missouri. Anita was born on June 1, 1955 in Grove, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of A.D and Rachel V. (Messimore) Jackson. Anita graduated from Grove high school in 1973. Anita's family and job were the most important things in her life. She was the PSA Department Manager for Lowe's. Anita's smile, laugh and the way she always "goofed" around with everyone, will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Anita married Robert Reid on September 8, 1984 in Kansas City, KS. They made their home in the Zena community. Anita was preceded in death by her parents A.D. & Rachel Jackson, one brother Andrew Jackson, three sisters in-laws; Roberta Jackson, Bonnie Jackson and Mary Jackson; her nephew John "Bo" Jackson, Father in-law Don Reid and two brother in-laws Don and Dave Reid. She is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Ried of the home, two daughters Kristi McCombs of Grove, OK, Jessica Sommerfeld of Zena, OK and son Mikeal Reid of Grove, OK. Seven brothers and sisters; David Jackson of Zena, OK, Alvin Jackson and his wife Mary of Zena, OK, Mike Jackson and his wife Linda of Jay, OK, Jodie Jackson and his wife Marie of Stillwell, OK, Bruce Jackson and his wife Debbie of Omaha, TX, Vi Pettigrew and her husband Bud of Eagle Point, OR, and Debbie Jackson of Zena, Mother in-law Betty Reid and brother in-law Jerry Reid, and sister in-law Mary Forsythe and husband Terry. Anita was blessed with six grandchildren; Sydney McCombs, Carly McCombs, Zoee Sommerfeld, Emily Hodges, Gunner McCombs and Van Reid. She will be missed by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 PM, Friday, December 4, 2015 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, OK. She will be laid to rest in the Zena Cemetery.
