Ardy Jefferson Tosh, a distinguished leader and devoted family man, passed on January 17, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 93. He was born on May 13, 1931, in Tiff City, Missouri, and grew up in Southwest City, Missouri, where he graduated high.
Ardy forged a notable career as the lead operator and president of Commercial Metals Railroad Salvage Company. His dedication and leadership were pivotal in shaping the success of the organization. His commitment to his profession was matched only by his sense of duty, having served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Ardy was a passionate individual who cherished his hobbies. He enjoyed golfing and had a profound love for baseball, often found watching and attending games.
Ardy is survived by his daughter, Frances Mustain; his son, Michael Tosh, and his wife Marie; as well as his four beloved grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ardy Samuel Tosh; his mother, Ruth (Walker) Tosh; his wife, Patty Jean (Sanders) Tosh, who passed away in 2018; his son-in-law, Donald Mustain, who passed away in 2022; and five siblings. Ardy's life was marked by dedication to family, professionalism, and a love for life that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, OK with pastor Sam Smith officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Grove Veterans Ritual Team.
