Arnold Speer

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, Oklahoma (918) 256 - 5555 ~ Arnold Dean Speer, 81 year old well known Bluejacket resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami. He was born on February 6, 1934 in Bluejacket to Dan Raymond Speer and Maudie V. (Padgett) Speer. Arnold married Carol Lea Berry on May 3, 1957, she preceded him in death on December 23, 2011. He was a farmer-stockman and worked at Eastern State Hospital as a Butcher for more than 30 years. After he retired Arnold enjoyed taking care of his cattle, gardening and working at his church. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Bluejacket. Preceding him in death were his parents, wife Carol, son, Jeff Speer, sister, Barbara Stephens and a brother Norman Speer. The family includes; his mother in-law, Juanita Berry of Bluejacket; children, Karen Siler (Keith) of Miami, Linda Olson (Robert) of Houston, Texas, Gary Speer (Maver) of Bluejacket; a daughter in-law Cindy Speer of Bluejacket; a sister, Evelyn Gosney of Owasso; fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Bluejacket Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Leonard Stoner officiating.
