Arvie Scott

Arvie Marie Scott, age 92, a longtime resident of Bartlesville passed on at Medicalodge of Dewey, Oklahoma to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born to Noah and Lora Martin on March 21st, 1915 in Greenwood, Arkansas. She was one of thirteen children, all deceased except one brother, Bobby Martin of Bartlesville. She was united in marriage to Porter Lee Scott on September 11th, 1931. They had five children. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Johnny Lee Scott, her husband, Porter Lee Scott, a daughter, Mildred Louise (Joe) Wilson. She is survived by a daughter, Wilma Jean (Herb) Jones, a son Donald Ray (Elayne) Scott, a daughter, Arlene (Guy) Gardner, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Alzheimer's Association Oklahoma Chapter and those who wish to contribute may do so in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association Oklahoma Chapter, 6465 South Yale Ave, Suite 312 Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136 or to the Cornerstone Hospice, 3414 SE Kentucky, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74006 Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008 at in the Colonial Chapel of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home, with The Rev.
