Twenty year old Nowata resident Ashley Marie Huntington passed away at Saint John Medical Center, in Tulsa, October 14, 2013, after a long hard fought battle with Hodgkin's Lymphona. She was born in Claremore, Oklahoma, June 2, 1993 to David and Julie (Moore) Huntington. Ashley was a 2011 graduate of Nowata High School. She was a member of the American Paint Horse Association, The Pinto Horse Association, and the NSBA. She loved horses, her dogs and cat, and a pet deer she cared for. Ashley's love for horses allowed her to travel the country showing horses and enjoy the life she had. While not showing her horses or working on the family ranch, Ashley enjoyed shopping and buying her cowgirl bling. Ashley was a very loving young lady with a deep love for her mother, family, and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. Ashley is survived by her parents, David and Julie Huntington, of Nowata; a brother, Justin Huntington, of Nowata; maternal grandparents, Connie and Iva Moore, of Nowata; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Martha Huntington, of Nowata; aunts, Nancy Mackey, Becky Stacy and husband Mike, Tammy Harrison and husband Scott; many other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral Services for Ashley Huntington will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Nowata, with Larry Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com
