Barbara Blanche Frye-Dean of Langley, died August 3, 2017 at 12:35 a.m., at her daughter's home in Tulsa, OK after a brief illness. Barbara Frye-Dean was born on April 3, 1935 in Independence, OK to the late Franklin Samuel Driver and Blanch (Dorsey) Driver. She lived in Langley, OK for 11 years, coming from Cassville, MO where she lived for 11 years and lived in Lanagan, MO for 12 years. Previously, she lived in Tulsa, OK. She previously owned Truitt's Cave located in Lanagan, MO, River's Bend Cleaners in Anderson, MO, and retired from Seven Valley's Motel in Cassville, MO. She was a member of First Baptist Church Langley, OK. She married Floyd Loyid Frye on October 2, 1952 at Waldron, AR. After 50.5 years of marriage, Floyd went to be with his Lord and Savior. April 3, 2004, she married Virgil Vernon Dean until his death on May 4, 2008. Barbara is survived by her children: Keith Frye of Lanagan, MO; Elisa Bridgeman and husband Dean of Tulsa, OK; Fay Marie Havlick and husband Max of Villa Park, IL; and Paul Dean and wife JoAn of Afton, OK; Five grandchildren Faith Bridgeman, Karen Bridgeman, Spencer Bridgeman and wife Angela all of Tulsa, OK, Stephanie Zinn and husband Austin of Lanagan, MO, Traci Launius and husband Kenny of Stella, MO, and 5 great grandchildren: Syprina Zinn, Ashley Launius, Tyler Launius, Jackson Bridgeman, and Elizabeth Bridgeman, as well as two brothers; Clayton Driver of DeRidder, LA and Wayne Driver and wife Nadine of Anderson, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two sons, and one brother. Funeral services for Barbara will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Frist Baptist Church in Langley, OK with Pastors Davies Vanpool and Tom Branch officiating. Interment will follow at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn, MO with an approximate arrival time of 1 p.m. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley.
