Barbara Ann (Cearley) Hinton, 73, Grove resident, died December 12, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 19, 1938 in Big Cabin, Oklahoma to her parents, Charles Starr and Sylvia Agnes (Braggs) Cearley. Barbara attended Big Cabin schools. She married the love of her life, Clifford J. Hinton on September 17, 1955 in Big Cabin. They spent 41 years in Tulsa before retiring to Grove 15 years ago. Barbara worked outside the home for different companies, Crest, Vanguard, Modern Plating, Vo-Tech, Rockwell, and McDonald Douglas, to name a few. But her most important role was as loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Barbara also enjoyed bowling, square dancing, fishing, camping, and traveling. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and three brothers. Barbara leaves many loving memories with her family, her husband of 56 years, Clifford; two sons, Don Hinton and Chuck Hinton and wife Cindy; Two daughters, Linda Henry and Dana Brown and husband Ed; a brother, Wayne Cearley and wife Carla; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends. Graveside Services are 11:00 AM Thursday December 15, 2011 at Big Cabin Cemetery with Chaplain Geoff Buffalo officiating. Memorials may be made in Barbara's name to the American Cancer Society.
