Bart Williams Sr.

Bart Dale Williams Sr. was taken home by his Lord on March 15, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri.

He was born to George Greenwood Williams and Cecil Elzona Page on September 16, 1933, in Picher, Oklahoma. Bart was married to Joyce Wolf for almost 59 years.  He had four children; one son named Bart Williams Jr, and three daughters Lisa, Wanita “Jeanie”, and Sonja. He was a proud member of the Jay First Assembly Church in Jay, Oklahoma, and was honored to serve in the United States Air Force. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 195 and a founding member of Millwright Local 1015.

Bart loved the outdoors specializing in hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved to do yard work and to tinker with things around the house. Bart had a heart on fire for God and always enjoyed participating in church activities.  Bart was always eager for his next adventure and traveled extensively.  He enjoyed dancing to all types of music, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bart loved his family dearly and he will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his community.

Bart is preceded in death by his parents George and Cecil Williams, sisters Marie Black and Jean Blake, and a very special grandson Derek Williams.

Bart is survived by his wife Joyce Williams, son Bart Williams Jr. and his wife Lisa; daughters Lisa Lamb and her husband Jim, Wanita “Jeanie” Iranmanesh and her husband Mahmood, and Sonja Presley. Grandchildren Shaina Easter, Jeremy Lamb, Michael Presley, Kimberly Presley, and Daniel Presley. Bart had 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. Bart is also survived by his siblings; brothers Richard Williams and his wife Betty, Gerald Williams, and Terry Williams and his wife Carol; sisters Lucile DeLuca, and Sharon Slye.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at Jay First Assembly in Jay, Oklahoma at 10 am on March 20, 2023. Bart is under the care of Worley-Luginbuel in Jay, Oklahoma
