Bertrude Moore

Bertrude Helene Moore, 85, a resident of Jay passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Integris Grove General Hospital. She was born in Eucha on June 22, 1924 to Harvey and Ollie (Tanner) Wilson. Mrs. Moore moved back to the Jay area from Texas in 1994 after the passing of her husband Elton Ray Moore on May 15, 1993. Bertrude loved her grandkids, was a very good cook and loved to fish and travel. She owned a heating and air company with her husband in Texas. Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her husband Elton Ray Moore, her parents Harvey and Ollie Wilson, five sisters Mary Spohn, Elda Day, Anne Kennedy, May Asbury, Dorothy Wilson and one brother Sonny Wilson. Survivors include her children Elton Moore of Jay, Helene McClain of Grafton, Illinois, two brothers Bobby Wilson and Willie Wilson both of Jay, four grandchildren, Melanie Wintjen, Michelle Whitney, Elton G. Moore, Patrick Moore, and her great grandchildren, Raeame Wintjen, Makenzie Wintjen, Keira Wintjen, Jessica Sandoval, Brent Whitney, Marissa Whitney, Shaylee Moore, Allie Moore, Elton Moore and Kylee Moore. Visitation was Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Graveside services will be on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Lohn Cemetery in Lohn, Texas under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
