Betty Shobe

Betty Lou Shobe, 64 year old, lifetime area resident, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Joplin, Missouri. Betty was born on July 12, 1947 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, to Mathew Lee and Viola Agnes (Copeland) Miller. Betty loved spending time working around the house, but above all she loved being with her family. She worked for many years at the Sunbeam Factory in Neosho, Missouri. Betty is survived by her husband, Jack Shobe of the home; four children, Angela Bittick of Joplin, Missouri, Curt Cook of Stark City, Missouri, Jeannie Gilbert, of Neosho, Missouri, and Karen Goodlifffe of Covington, Georgia; one stepdaughter, Robyn Brownfield of Grove, Oklahoma; four brothers; four sisters; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. Betty Was preceded in death by her parents, Mathew and Viola Miller, and a brother Leon Miller.
