Bill Douglas, a beloved family man, passed away tragically on February 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on July 31, 1959, in Richmond, Missouri, Bill was known for his kind and loving nature, always taking the time to support his family, especially at every sporting event for his cherished grandchildren.

His career as an antiques auctioneer allowed him to connect with people from all walks of life. Bill's passion for his work was matched only by his love of the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending countless hours in nature and engaging in his hobby of collecting all types of antiques and guns. Additionally, Bill had a fondness for visiting flea markets, where he would delight in searching for a good deal and making new friends along the way.

Bill's family meant everything to him. He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Tayla (Pair) Douglas, and his beloved daughter, Cassie Douglas. He took great pride in his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren, Cheyenne Douglas, Dakota Douglas and Grayson Spencer.

He leaves behind two loving sisters, Harriett Scobee and her husband John, and Rhonda Eads and her husband Johnny. Also mourning his loss are his four nieces, Jody Neuenschwander, Misty Sohosky, Keshia Wheeler, and Montia Tackett, as well as his nephew, Tony Smith, along with several great nieces and nephews who adored him.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Harry Douglas, his mother, Doris Nespory, and a sister, Joyce Williams. Although he has departed this world, his loving spirit, fond memories, and the impact he made on those around him will always be remembered.

A celebration of life service will be held 1:30 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Galilean Church, 167 Oak Street, Kansas, OK 74347.
