Billie Barton

Worley-Luginbuel Grove, OK  918-786-2261  Billie Yvonne Barton, age 67, passed away in the St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK on Wednesday July 10, 2019.  The daughter of Bill George Langford and Dorothy Ola Williams Langford, she was born on August 25, 1951 in Liberal, KS.  She graduated in 1974 from the Mercy School of Nursing in Ft. Scott, KS.  Billie was a nurse practitioner for the Oklahoma State Health Department working in Ottawa, Delaware and Craig Counties.  Living in the area for over 18 years, she had attended the Nazarene church and the Assembly of God churches in Miami. OK. Her hobbies included fishing, hunting and camping.  She also enjoyed motorcycle riding and trading on EBay.  She was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corp.

Surviving are her husband,  Rick Barton in the home, two sons Anthony Schertzer and Wes Barton, a daughter Lori Barton.

Grandchildren; Autumn Echelbarger, Damion Schertzer, Natalee Schertzer, Asher Barton, Samantha Barton, Liberty Adams, Dawsen  Lee, Jacob Barton, Tommy England, and  Lloyd England.

A visitation and remembrance will be between 10 and 12 a.m.  on Saturday July 20, 2019 in the Worley-Luginbuel  Chapel in Grove, OK.  There will be a family gathering and meal after at 422 5th St. SE in Miami, OK
