Billie Meads

WORLEY-LUGINBUEL FUNERAL HOME, GROVE, OKLAHOMA, 918-786-2261. Billie Darlene Meads, 80 year old Grove resident, passed from this life Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Billie was born in Claremore on December 5, 1938 to the late William On-The- Hill and Lillie Elizabeth Melton.

In addition to her parents, and step-father, Donald Peterson, she was preceded in death by, a sister Geraldine On-The-Hill; her first husband and father of her children, Howard Leroy Rothe; and her last husband George Meads, as well a great granddaughter Madison Hobbs.

She worked as a sales clerk for a number of years.  Billie had a great sense of humor.  She cherished her family and her dogs Sarah and Rastus.  She also enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, reading, coloring, and eating ice cream.

Billie is survived by her 6 children: Cynthia Garner of Bartlesville, Donna Alldredge of Grove, Garry Johns and wife Patricia of Highland, CA, Gregg Ault of Greeley, CO, Tracy Meyer and husband Bradley of Grove, and Carrie Cudworth and husband Rick of Greeley, CO, siblings: Barbara O’Dwyer of Wheatridge, CO, Mary Jo Dennis of Wheatridge, CO, Patsy Morgan, Olkmulgee, Jeri Tiger, Morris, OK, and Levi On-The-Hill of Beggs, OK, 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. .  Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com or on the Worley Luginbuel Facebook Page.
