Billie Mae (Meredith) Napolitano, age 79 of Grove, passed from this life on May 30, 2023. Billie was born in Bartlesville, OK on August 12, 1943, to William and Daisy Meredith. She proudly served in the Navy from 1961-1965. She finished her degree from Orange County Community College and worked as a property manager at Keller Army Community Hospital in West Point, NY. Billie had many passions in life. She enjoyed boating and was a member of the Cornwall Yacht Club in New York. She enjoyed watching Army football and frequenting the casinos. She was proud of her Cherokee heritage and worked with the Trail of Tears Association to help with Cherokee genealogy. She was also in the Tsa La Gi club in Grove. She was also a member of the American Legion in Jay.
Survivors include her son William Napolitano and wife Linda of Wallkill, NY and daughter Virginia Napolitano of Delray Beach, Fl, grandchildren: Thomas Rooney, ToniMarie Zeyher, Thomas J. Amodeo III, Joseph Napolitano, Cassidy Napolitano great grandchildren: Theodor Rooney, Madilyn Zeyher, Ethan Rooney, Gabriella Zeyher, and Michael Zeyher. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Napolitano, brother Jimmy James Parker, and sisters Barbara Jane Meredith and Bettie Lou DiMarco.
Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Worley Luginbuel Chapel with funeral services started at 2 p.m. Interment and military rites will follow at Olympus Cemetery.
