Billy Joe Goforth, age 75 of Vinita, passed away June 30, 2013. He was born in Clayton, OK May 8, 1938 to Orba D. and Anna G. (Burge) Goforth. He served 4 years with the National Guard and after his service became a surveyor for the State of Colorado. He moved back to Oklahoma to be close to family. He loved playing dominos and cards, watching movies, country music, the outdoors, and being with family. He is preceded in death by both parents, two sisters: Sue Losh of CO, Mary J Goforth of OK. Survivors include his three children: Jeannie Harrison Kansas, OK, Janet Puttman of CO, Terry Goforth of Ocala, FL, sisters: Shirley Stanley and husband Martin of CO, Betty Baker and husband Lawrence, Agnes Zithus, Mae Harrison and husband Jim all of OK, brothers: Orba Goforth, John Goforth and wife Gennie, Albert Goforth and wife Shelia, Delane Goforth all of OK and Don Goforth and wife Faye of Colorado Springs, CO, as well as 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He will be loved and missed by all his family and friends. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2013 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 8, 2013 at Carselowey Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
