Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma, 918-786-2261 Billy V. Hughes, 69 year old resident of Grove, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at St. Francis Heart Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Billy was born on August 15, 1948 in Delaware County, Oklahoma. He was the son of Everett "Bill" and Avanell (Woods) Hughes. Billy worked in the construction industry as a independent contractor. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, you will never meet a bigger NASCAR or Dallas Cowboy fan, and he also loved to cook. Billy's laughter was contagious, he loved spending time with his family and friends. Billy was preceded in death by his father Bill Hughes. He is survived by his mother Avanell Hughes of Grove, his loving wife Deleen of the home, two daughters Tammy Chailer and her husband Charlie of Mannford, OK and Wendy Hughes-Davis of Missouri, step daughter Nicole Naverette and her husband Victor of Sun Praire, WI, step son Zachary Jean and his wife Rayanna of Gig Harbor WA and the son they never had, Terry Cox, seven grandchildren; MyLynne Smith and husband Kevin of Bella Vista, AR, Bella Naverette, Sierra Naverette, Daniella Naverette of Sun Prairie, WI, Wyatt Jean, Amelie Jean, Zo Jean of Gig Harbor, WA. He will be dearly missed by his brother Monty Hughes of Jay and his sister Vickie Rambo and husband Bill of Grove, and his five nephews Stoney, Lance Crowder, Jacob Jennings, Justin Jennings and Jemery Jennings and niece Sarah Smith. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8pm, Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Services will be held at 11 am, Thursday, February 1, 2018 both at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.
