Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Billy Ray Warren, age 85, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on June 28, 2018. Services will be held at 10:00am, Monday, July 2, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Jim Paslay officiating. Mr. Warren was born on February 1, 1933 in Hughes, Oklahoma, son of the late Harvey and Ethel Warren. After the death of his mother and grandparents, he was raised by his Uncle Ben R. Allen and Aunt Lula J. Allen. He met the love of his life, Lorna Chrystal, in 1954 and they were married in 1957 at Westwood Baptist Church in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. For 61 years, he was a loving and faithful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He taught his family how to love others by example. He was a faithful member of the local Baptist Church wherever he lived. He spent much of his spare time fishing and traveling. Mr. Warren is preceded in death by 1 sister, Della Sloane, 1 daughter, Tammie Sue Warren, and 1 son, Billy Ray Warren. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorna Warren, and his children, Tommy Warren (Sharlene) of Yukon, Oklahoma: Monty Warren (Nancy) of Auburntown, Tennessee: 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
