Bobbie Brown

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555.-- Bobbie Lloydene Brown, 82 year old Big Cabin resident, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Seneca, Missouri. She was born on November 25, 1933 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Mildred (Crouch) Ivey. Bobbie attended high school in Adair. She married Lonnie Brown, who preceded her in death on April 28, 1974. Bobbie was a hard worker and had worked in many places around Craig County including, TRW Cinch, Vinita Vet Clinic, Craig General Hospital and Sam's Tire Shop. She was a talented gardener with a green thumb with her beautiful flowers, she also enjoyed sewing and listening to the Grand Ole Opry. Bobbie was a member of the Big Cabin Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Lonnie Brown, children, Barbara and Larry Brown, siblings, Georgia Duncan, Jean DeMoss and David Ivey; great-granddaughter Suzie Shrum. The family includes: her children, Micki Helphingstine and husband Teddie of Sedan, Kansas, Joyce Tune of Big Cabin; siblings, Faye McGuirk and husband John of Welch, Nellene Hood and husband Jim of Welch, Phyllis Duncan and husband Jim of Arizona, Carlene Williams and husband Bernard of Barndall, John Ivey of Jay; grandchildren, Alycia Bass, Londa Brickman, Judy Shrum, Mandy Tune, Jess Helphingstine, Shane Helphingstine, and Jake Helphingstine; great-grandchildren, Denton Effinger, Kallee Dunn, Meade Brickman, Maddelyn Brickman, Gracie Shrum and Markius Copeland. The visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The funeral will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Big Cabin Baptist Church, with Pastor Tim Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at the Ghormley Cemetery near Pensacola.
