Bobby Brannon

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Grove, OK (918) 786-2261 - Bobby Earl Brannon, age 80, passed away on June 15, 2015 at his residence in Wyandotte, Oklahoma. Bobby was born on March 26, 1935 in Pryor, Oklahoma. He was the son of Earl and Opal (James) Brannon. He was united in marriage to Shirley Lee in April of 1953. Bobby belonged to the Carpenter's Local #253, working in Omaha, NE for Foster Smetana as a Superintendent on commercial construction for 30 years. Bobby and Shirley moved to Goodman, MO to a dairy farm and resided there until 2002, then retired to Grand Lake, Grove, OK. Bobby's hobbies were hunting, fishing and antiques, they went all over the United States showing their antique cars. Bobby is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his spouse Shirley Brannon; three brothers Bill Brannon of Adams, NE; Dale Brannon and his wife Nita of Bridger, MT; Darvin Brannon and his wife Eileen of Springview, NE; two sisters, Bonnie Dappen and her husband Glen of Lincoln, NE and Beverly of Prescott, AZ. Bobby and Shirley's four children, Tim Brannon of Thurman, IA, Tina Jones of Bella Vista, AR, Tony Brannon of Grove, OK and Perry Brannon of Wyandotte, OK, 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2015. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 19, 2015 both at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Bobby will be laid to rest in Olympus North Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma.
