Bonnie Amos

Bonnie Louise (January) Amos passed away on October 1, 2021, in Springdale Arkansas.

Bonnie was born on December 19, 1941, in Colcord Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lloyd “Bill” & Minnie (Guess) January. Bonnie love to cook, sew, embroidery and spend time on Facebook with friends. She spent a lot of time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was of Baptist faith.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Claude “Gene” Amos Sr, her son Sheldon Dean Amos, her sister Bessie Guinn, and her brother Lloyd January Jr.

She is survived by two sons Claude Amos Jr (Lori) of Shawnee Oklahoma and Clayton Amos of Stroud Oklahoma. Two granddaughters Tara Holzkamper (Steven) of Gentry Arkansas, Christa Farley ( Scott) of Carney Oklahoma, one grandson Chadrick Amos of Edmond Oklahoma, her great grandchildren Allison Farley of Carney Oklahoma, Jada, Andrea, Macie, and Kenzley Holzkamper of Gentry Arkansas & one great grandson Aiden Amos of Edmond Oklahoma. Her sister Kathy Owens (Larry) of Lowell, Arkansas & many nieces & nephews that she adored.

Visitation will be held 11 AM to 12 PM Friday, October 8, 2021, at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home Jay chapel in Jay Oklahoma. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, October 8, 2021, at Dixon cemetery in Colcord Oklahoma with Minister Mike Ellis officiating.
