Paul Jay Browning, 87, a resident of Cleora passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 in Grove, OK at Integris Grove General Hospital. He was born on April 22, 1919 in Cleora, OK to Bert and Ora (Johnson) Browning. Paul was the youngest of ten married Ima Jean Gary in 1943. He Joined the United States Army were he served for three years. He then worked for Ford Motor Company in the Paint Department for thirty years, he retired in 1980. Mr. Browning loved to work outside whether it is in the yard or in the garden. His wife Jean Browning Survives of the home. Other survivors include two sons Michael and his wife Margaret Browning of Sparks, NV, James and his wife Marcene Browning of Downey, CA his grandchildren; John Soldano, Richard Soldano, Matt Browning, Martin Browning, Darryl Browning and Darralle Nikaz, Great grandchildren, Sara, Rachel, Chase, Chandler and Emily Soldano and one great-great granddaughter Kaley Soldano. Those that preceded him in death are his parents Bert and Ora Browning, his daughter Paula Jones and his brothers and sisters Lola Jones, Beulah Conners, Erwin Browning, Peggy Double, Melvin Browning, Thelma Walker, Charles Browning, Geneva Ames and Frank Browning. Funeral Services will be on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Cleora Baptist Church with Pastor David Pifer officiating. Interment will follow in the McLaughlin Cemetery in Cleora, OK under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
