Buddy Lee Riner Graveside funeral services for Buddy Lee Riner will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2008, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Nowata, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Home, of Nowata. Buddy Lee Riner, seventy two year old Nowata resident, was born in Nowata County February 16, 1936 to George C. and Mary Taressa (Harney) Riner. He passed from this life at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Monday, May 13, 2008. He attended and graduated from Delaware High School and later served his country in the United States Army. Buddy worked in the construction business for years driving heavy equipment. He loved the outdoors. Fishing and hunting were his favorite hobbies. He will be missed by all who knew him. Preceding Mr. Riner in death are his parents, brothers George Riner, and Billy Wait, and one sister Loretta Robbins Survivors include a brother, J.J. Riner, and his wife Margie, of Nowata, several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends. The family suggests donations to the 10-33 Emergency Team in Nowata.
