Carl Larkin

Carl David Larkin, 85 of Jay, went home to his Lord and Savior on April 4, 2023.  Carl was born in Jay on September 20, 1937, to Ralph and Bessie (Williams) Larkin.  He proudly served in the Air Force, followed by the Army.  Carl was very patriotic and very proud to be a Vietnam combat veteran.  Through his military career, he acquired various interests.  He enjoyed rebuilding and restoring cars, woodworking, riding his motorcycle, fishing and hunting.  He always kept busy.  Carl was also a compassionate person who enjoyed serving others.  He was a board member for the Northeast Oklahoma Vo-tech, a member of the Salina VFW Chapter, the Jay American Legion, as well as the Pryor DAV.

Carl will be greatly missed by his wife Barbara Larkin and a host of other relatives.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay.  Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the First Baptist Church of Jay.  Interment will follow at Southwest City Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemores.com
