Cecelia Eileen Howard, 76, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the Osage Nursing Home in Nowata, Oklahoma. She was born on September 17, 1943 on the reservation in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Lemuel Rhodd Sr. and Iva Janet (Little Standing Buffalo) Rhodd. Cecelia grew up in Kay county and attended Chilocco Indian School where she received her education. She married her soul mate Michael Howard on September 19, 1970. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and rummy with the family. She loved being a homemaker and making sure her family was well taken care of. Cecelia was a proud citizen of the Ponca tribe. She was preceded in death by her parents Lemuel and Iva Rhodd, a granddaughter; Daysi Reamy, siblings; Penny Rhodd, Lemuel Rhodd Jr., Vernon Rhodd, Pete Rhodd and Carlton Rhodd

She is survived by husband; Michael Howard of the home, her four children; Tracy Dawson and husband Brent Lassen, Sabrina McCrea and husband Tom, Jana Grass and husband Kim, Michael Reamy, Siblings: Mary Akers, Douglas Rhodd, Hank Rhodd, Sharon Dawson, Benjamin Zaitshix, Grandchildren; Mark Reamy, Alton Reamy, J.R. Grass, Stormin Bible, Obie Reamy, Arcadia Reamy, Rafael Zermeno, Steven Hernandez, Carmela Vance, Kaylian McCrea, Christian Crazybear, Norene Graves, Chandler Yahola, Neices; Mercedes Pappan, Anita Robertson, Debbie Rhodd and numerous other relatives.

Memorial services for Cecelia Eileen Howard will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday , September 10, 2020, at the Benjamin Funeral Home’s Chapel in Nowata.  Officiating the service is Brent Carney.  Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service, 114 W.
