Chad Roberts

WORLEY-LUGINBUEL...........JAY, OK.........918-253-3222..... Chad William Roberts, Jay resident, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, January 26, 2014 at the age of 37 years. Chad was born on March 24, 1976 in Springdale, AR to his parents, Lonnie and Evelyn (Wilcox) Roberts. He graduated Lincoln High school as a member of the class of 1994. After graduation, Chad attended Tulsa Welding School. Most recently he worked for Simmons Foods as Farm Manager in Jay. Chad enjoyed spending time outdoors; his passions included riding horses, team roping, training horses, and bow hunting. He was President of the Grove Roundup Club. Chad loved spending time with his family and friends. Chad married Ashley Stanford on May 21, 2011 at the Triple Cross Ranch in Jay, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his mother; grandfathers, Kenneth Roberts and L.M. Wilcox; and an uncle, Eugene Roberts. Chad leaves many loving memories with his family; wife, Ashley; son, Ashdon Hudson; daughters, Chaley Roberts, Laney Roberts, and Taylar Roberts; brothers, Brett Roberts and wife Dawn; sister, Georgia Martin and husband Ken; grandmothers, Mertie Roberts and husband Tommy Jones, and Maria Wilcox; in-laws, Dewey Stanford and wife Amy; as well many other loving relatives and host of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dewey J. Stanford officiating. Interment will follow at the Stanford family cemetery.
