Charles "Fred" Kuder

Luginbuel Funeral home Vinita, 918-256-5555……Charles "Fred" Frederick Kuder passed away June 21, 2019 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. He was born January 8, 1930 in Afton, Oklahoma the son of Elizabeth and Charles Homer Kuder. Charles was raised in Craig County where he graduated from Vinita High School. He was extremely proud to serve his country in the Korean War; he told his sons he enjoyed his time in the Air Force and serving his country. Charles married Ethel Hildebrand in 1955. He was a postal clerk working in Vinita until his retirement. Charles enjoyed going to sports events with his sons on a daily basis sometimes five nights a week. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends weekly and dominos at the pool hall on Wilson street. Charles will be fondly remembered as always being there for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ethel, and a sister JoAnn Kuder.

Charles is survived by two sons, Charles ‘Chuck” Frederick Kuder Jr. and wife Lynda of Llano, Texas, John Kuder of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Meghan Nelson and husband Stew of Austin, Texas, Danni Kuder and Lance Perry of Cherokee, Texas, Kade Kuder and wife Marie of Butte, Montana, Kyndal Kuder of Las Vegas, Nevada; and one great-grandson Calvin Nelson of Austin, Texas.

Private family services will be held at Fairview Cemetery.  At family's request, In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Claremore, OK.
