Christina Galvin

Christina (Christy) Rae Galvin, age 51, of Ketchum, OK died Friday June 12, 2009 at her home in Ketchum. She was born February 2, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Ray Anthony Galvin and Evelyn Slanksty Galvin. She was raised in Wichita where she attended grade school. The family moved to Tulsa where Christy attended and graduated from Memorial High School. She was a rehab supervisor working at St. Francis, Hillcrest and Tulsa Regional Hospital area with people recovering from mental health issues and head injuries. She was an avid sports fan and loved OU football and enjoyed boating, fishing, soccer and playing golf. Christy leaves behind her companion and life long friend Jeanette Spengler of Ketchum, a sister Mary Hamilton of Tulsa, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 17, 2009 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. concluding with a Rosary starting at 6:00.
