Claud Guffey

Claude Robertson Guffey, 71 year old Spavinaw resident died Friday September 15, 2011 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa. He was born April 8, 1940 in Bartlesville, OK the son of Claude Floyd Guffey and Qunnie Agnes Robertson Guffey. He was raised and educated in Bartlesville and was a truck mechanic with Tulsa Spring. He moved to the lake area in 1982 and was of the Baptist faith. Claude enjoyed fishing, word search puzzles, but mostly playing with his grand kids and grand dog. Claude leaves behind his wife Georgia of the home, eleven children, Shari Riley of Bartlesville, Lee Ann Lott of Alexandra City, AL, Kerri Edwards of Nowata, OK, Larry Guffey of Bartlesville, Claudette Renfro of Cleveland, OH, Pam Smith of Sand Springs, OK, Rhonda Mouse of the Home, Carolyn Robinette of Tulsa, OK, Terry Hollis of Terrell ton, OK, Jackie Evans of Spavinaw and Claude Guffey 2nd of Spavinaw, OK. also included are twenty six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral home at Langley Funeral Services will be Monday September 19, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Salina, OK with interment to follow at 3:00 p.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mannford, OK
