Colten Gooding

Jay, OK - Colten Wade Gooding, 21, died Monday, March 8, 2010 in Afton, Oklahoma. He was born on February 25, 1989 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Stoney and Marla (Mann) Gooding. Colten worked as a builder and lived all his life in the Jay area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding steers and horses and raising roosters. Survivors include his parents, Stoney and Marla Gooding of Jay; his grandparents, Viola Moore of Eucha, OK, Harold Mann of Salina, KS and Eva Gooding of Jay; his brother Steven Gooding of Jay; his sisters, Leslie Gooding of Afton and Marissa Gooding of Jay; one niece, Lillian Carroll; one nephew Braxton Gooding; lots of cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Gooding and his uncle Travis Easter. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2010 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay. Burial will follow at Mose Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
