Connie Bice

Connie Jo Bice, Southwest City, MO resident, died early Friday morning July 26, 2013 in Joplin, at the age of 71 years. She was born on January 18, 1942 in Southwest City, MO to her parents, Robert and Mona (Duncan) Lett. She attended schools in Modesto, CA. Connie loved reading her bible, attending church, picking blackberries and mushrooms, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her kids and grandkids and she dearly loved her nieces and nephews.. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ, attending for over 20 years in Oakdale, CA and then for over 30 years in Noel, MO. Connie is preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Bice; brother, Melvin Lett; sister-in-law, Frances Lett; and nephew, Doug Bice. Connie leaves many loving memories with her family, sons, Scott Bice and wife Amanda, Andy Bice and wife, Kimberly, and Mark Bice; brother, Bobby Lett and wife Barbara; grandchildren, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Scotty, and Hope; nieces, Gina Lett, Angela Lett, Audra Lett, Kimberly Lett, Annette Bice, and Sandra Bice; nephews, Vince Lett, Daniel Lett, Ricky Lett, Roddy Lett, and Chris Bice; as well as many other loving relatives, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Monday July, 29, 2013 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK. Funeral services celebrating Connie's life will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at the Church of Christ in Noel, MO with George Randall officiating. Interment will follow at Saratoga Springs Cemetery in Southwest City, MO. Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
