Connie Lou Norton (Ames) passed on July 26, 2022 in her home of Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on November 26, 1936 in Ottawa, Kansas to Louis Ames and Hazel Brown. Connie met and fell in love with Glenn Norton they married on August 26, 1956 and had three sons Steve, Mark, and Mike.  Connie was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, and a member of Ottawa Kansas VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She was a nurse by trade, and she graduated from Northeastern Oklahoma in Tonkawa. The one thing Connie absolutely loved doing was spending time with her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. On the rare occasion Connie had time for herself she loved to cook, be in her garden, and travel. Connie loved to travel to Grove, her and her husband decided to move there later in life.

Connie is survived by her sons Steve, Mark, and Mike and her brother Bruce Ames and his wife Shirley. Grandchildren Aron, Kiefer, Dustin, Austin, and Mallory Norton, Liam Denton and greatgrandchildren Grayson Norton, and Brayden Hunt Daettin Bermudez.

Connie is preceded in death by her husband Glen Norton, her parents Louis Ames and Hazel Brown and her sister Dena Gomez.

Memorial Services will be held at Highland Park Cemetery in Ottawa, Kansas on August 06, 2022 at 11:00 am. Services are under the care of Worley-Luginbuel in Grove, Oklahoma.
