Cora Smith

Cora Bell Smith of Jay died Friday October 13, 2006 at Fayetteville, Ark. She was 62. Cora was born April 17, 1944 to Colon and Dora (Smith) Fields at Tahlequah, Ok. She married Bill Smith November 5, 1973. She worked as a realtor and a beautician most of her life. Cora attended Mt. Hermon Baptist Church at Jay and was a member of the Ebenezer Lutheran Church at Oaks, Ok. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Gearl Dee Fields. Survivors include her husband Bill Smith of Jay, Ok. Three children: Ronnie White of Oaks, Ok., Brandy Law and husband Darren of Kansas, Ok., and Cody Smith of Jay, Ok. Four sisters: Evelyn Starr of Kansas, Ok., Loretta Combs of Rocky Ford, Ok., Coleen Toro of Tulsa, Ok., and Gretchen Marshall of Tulsa, Ok. Three grandchildren: Gavin White and Jacob White, both of Houston, Tx., Kassandra Law of Kansas, Ok. Along with numerous nieces and nephews. Services were 2:00 PM Monday October 16, 2006 at the Ebenezer Lutheran Church at Oaks, Ok. Don Marshall officiated. Interment followed at the Oaks Cemetery at Oaks, Ok. Services were under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home at Jay.
