Cynthia Maxine Carter passed away on March 20, 2025, in Grove, Oklahoma, at the age of 75. Born on September 19, 1949, in Carterville, Missouri, Cynthia's life was filled with love, dedication, and an adventurous spirit.
Cynthia was a proud member of the Miami Tribe; she embraced her heritage with pride. Cynthia also held a remarkable affection for riding motorcycles and fast food, often called the "queen of fast food," embodying a playful and adventurous side that brought smiles to those around her. She was a member of the 33 Club, where she contributed to her community and connected with others who shared her values. Cynthia was an avid reader, she found solace and excitement in all kinds of books, she also enjoyed crocheting blankets.
Throughout her career at Grove Hospital, Cynthia exemplified compassion and unwavering commitment to caring for others. She will be remembered for her relentless dedication to her boys, her son Chris Davidson, and bonus son Greg Johnson. Cynthia’s will be dearly missed by her brother Larry Carter and his wife Robin, her sister Judy Dadds and her husband Wade, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.
Cynthia is predeceased by her father, Doyle Carter, her mother, Dolly (Tipton) Baughman, and her brother, Royce Carter.
As we reflect on a life well-lived, Cynthia Maxine Carter will be forever cherished, her spirit continuing to inspire those who knew her and loved her dearly.
