Daniel A Walsh

Daniel A. Walsh, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on August 1, 2023, at the age of 86. Born on March 25, 1937, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he lived a life filled with love, joy, and a deep passion for his family and sports.

Throughout his life, Daniel found solace and pleasure in various pastimes. He had an unwavering love for the game of golf and spent countless hours perfecting his swing on the green. His dedication to the sport was truly inspiring to those who knew him. Additionally, Daniel was an avid fan of University of Oklahoma Football. He cheered passionately for the team during every game and took immense pride in their victories.

Family was the centerpiece of Daniel's life. He cherished his role as a husband to his devoted wife and best friend. Their love was a shining example to all who witnessed it. As a father, he always provided unwavering support and guidance to his children. His presence brought comfort during difficult times and celebration during moments of triumph.

But Daniel's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As a loving grandfather and great-grandfather, he showered them with affection, wisdom, and endless love. His legacy will live on through the lives he touched and the memories they hold dear.

Daniel is preceded in death by his wife Lori Walsh, parents George, and Lena Walsh, sons Danny Lee, and Sean Malichi Walsh brothers Buddy Walsh, and sisters Betty and Rhea Walsh.

Daniel is survived by children Gregory Scioli, Gina Preble, Brenda Littlefield, and Julie Scioli, and grandchildren Jason Littlefield and wife Mindy, Lorenda Bolinger and husband Randy, Alisha Scioli, Brian Lasiter and wife Savannah, Trisha Meyers and husband William, Angie Scioli, Johnny Honeycutt and wife Belinda, April Kopriva and husband Nick, Sara Kennedy and husband Martin, Greg Scioli and wife Teresa, Bobby Van Buren, and Danni and Patrick Ballar, as well as numerous great-children.

A celebration of Daniel's remarkable life will be held on August 11, 2023, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home located in Grove, Oklahoma and start at 10:30 am.
