Danny Floyd Romans, aged 70, of Grove, Oklahoma, passed away on December 20, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. Danny was born on June 23, 1954, in Tulare, California. Danny led a fulfilling life marked by his commitment to his family and his passion for his work as a carpenter. He proudly held a bachelor's degree and embraced the many aspects of his career with dedication and skilled craftsmanship.
Danny had a profound love for reading, especially westerns and mysteries. His interests extended beyond literature, as he found joy in collecting stamps and Pez dispensers, hobbies that showcased his vibrant personality and curiosity about the world.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, of 50 years, Vicki ‘Jones’ Romans; his daughter, Dusti Romans; his son, Douglas Romans and his wife Dustie; and his cherished grandchildren: Kane, Kilian, King, Alison, Taylor, Zoe, and Izaiah, along with his great-grandchild, Gabrial. He is also survived by his sisters: Linda Wilson, Joann Smith, and Pamela Rau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd J. Romans and Bessie "Fletcher" Romans, who will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
A graveside service to honor Danny's life will be held at 1PM, Thursday December 26, 2024, at Fairland Cemetery in Fairland, Oklahoma with pastor Allen McClune officiating.
