Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555. Darrell O. Bussey passed away on Sunday March 12, 2017 in Springfield, Oregon. He was born Sep. 24, 1929 in Butler, OK to Bert and Blanche Bussey and raised in Vinita, OK. On August 1, 1952 he married Theresia M. Zink-Bussey in Bremerton WA while serving in the Marine Corps. Darrell was a self-employed Rodeo cowboy, Farrier and horse trainer. He was president of the Northwest Professional Rodeo Association 1977 and 1978. He is survived by; four daughters, Sharon Torricellas and husband Mike of Eugene, Ore., Lily Bussey and Teddie Bussey of Midlothian, Texas, and Jacquie Belyea and husband Rick of Elmira, OR, six grandchildren, Trevor Torricellas, Paden Torricellas-Treptow and husband Randy of Eugene, OR. Harrison Belyea and wife Melissa and great grandchildren Masson and Jet of Bremerton WA. Chasittie Adams of Andrews TX, Nichol Vargas of Houston, TX and Noah Teel of Houston, TX. And numerous nieces and nephews in WA and OK. He is preceded in death by his wife Theresia M. Bussey, parents Bert and Blanche Bussey, brothers Kenneth Bussey of Ponca City, Vernon Bussey of Vinita and Sister Lavern Willis of Prescott, AZ. The graveside service and military rites will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM, at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, with Pastor Wade Markham officiating.
