ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK - Delma passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the Journey Home in Bartlesville. She was born on May 5, 1928 in Nowata, OK. She was the daughter of Verne D. Wickham and Nellie Worster. She was raised in Nowata where she completed her education and received her diploma in 1945. After graduating, Delma was employed at Phillips Petroleum Company as a key punch operator until her retirement. Delma and Vaughn Stevens were joined together in marriage September 26, 1947 in Bartlesville where they would make their home for 68 years. The couple had three children. Delma was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bartlesville. She also was a member and was active in the Jane Phillips Society. Delma had her own Girl Scout Troop and loved sharing her knowledge with the next generation. Survivors include her husband, Vaughn; three children, Daniel Vaughn Stevens, Sr. and his wife, Terry, of Dewey, Sally LaVerne Davis and her husband, Charles, of Bixby, Phyllis "Jan" Dixon and her husband, Richard, of Jay; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dean Wickham; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Verne and Nellie; and brothers, Lowell Wickham and Keith Wickham. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Stevens' memory may be made to the Girl Scouts of America, c/o Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, 511 E. 11th St., Bartlesville, OK 74003; or to the charity of the donor's choice.
