Delmar Lewis

Delmar W. Lewis, age 91 passed away Monday, August 3, 2009 at Grand Lake Villa, Grove, Oklahoma. Delmar graduated from Sarcoxie High School and then went on to business college, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Grove. He ran the Ranch Resort on Grand Lake for several years, Delmar was also a camp ranger for the Boy Scouts of America, Camp Cherokee for 27 years then he moved to Miami for 8 years after retirement then moved back to Grove. Delmar is survived by his wife of 65 years, Faye Lewis (Snow), daughter, Karen Lewis of Cleveland, Ohio, sister Faynell Rainey of Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma. Delmar is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Helen Redford and brother, Carroll Lewis. A memorial service will be Wednesday, August 5, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Joel Rutherford and Dr. Richard Dayringer officiating.
