Delores Theresa (Ladner) Hopkins passed away in Grove,OK. Saturday March 3 , 2012 at the age of 75. Delores T.(Ladner) Hopkins was born October 22,1936 in Pass Christian,MS. To Ovile and Mary Irene (Stigler) Ladner.Delores married Frankie Lee Arthur Hopkins on November 3,1953 in Popular Ville Mississippi. Delores was a housewife and spent her years raising her children, tending to her husband and children's needs. She loved and enjoyed her family and her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren were the most precious parts of her life. She made sure that all of her family was well cared for and always made sure she loved them endlessly. She was a faithful follower of the Lord where she served as a minister's wife at the Adair Church of Christ for 45 years. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband Frankie Lee Arthur Hopkins, one son Kenneth Ray Hopkins, two sisters Bea and Dianne, one daughter- in -law Lori Hopkins, one brother- in- law Robert Boice and two nephews Steven Hayward and Bobby Boice. She is survived by one sister Rosie McKaee and husband Junior of Biloxi,MS,two sons :Arthur L. Hopkins and wife Billie of Vinita,OK.,Earl G. Hopkins and wife Jean of Vinita,OK; and one daughter Patti King and husband Kenny of Eucha,OK.;10 Grandchildren,17 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter along with a number of other family and friends. Services will be held at the Grove Church of Christ on March 7,2012 at 2PM with Mr. Dee Meador, presiding. She will be laid to rest at the Eucha Cemetery next to the love of her life. The family will greet friends from 6PM to 8PM on Tuesday evening, March 6, 2012 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK. Family request that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in her name to the American Alzheimer's Research Association . Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
