Derick Arneecher

Derick Robert Arneecher, Grove resident, died December 23, 2009 in Grove, OK at the age of 22. Derick was born to his parents Teri (Bauer) Midgett and Kenny Arneecher in Claremore on October 2, 1987. Derick attended Grove public schools. He played football and baseball, wrestled as young boy. He played ball for the Grove Dirty Birds who won a State title. He was also an avid golfer. Derick reaccepted the Lord as his savior on September 10, 2009, and was baptized on the following Sunday. Derick is survived by his mother, Teri Midgett & husband Dean of Langley, Oklahoma; father, Kenny Arneecher of Talala, Oklahoma; sister, Mandy of Grove, Oklahoma; step-brother Dean Midgett, step-sister, Amy Midgett all of Langley, Oklahoma; Grandparents, Jim & Imogene Bauer of Grove, Oklahoma; Kenneth & Sue Arneecher of Jay, OK; Great-grandmother, Hazel Bates of Grove, Great-Grandparents Lloyd Bauer of Vinita, Oklahoma, Thelma Herod and her husband Joe of Jay, Oklahoma. Derick is also survived by his fiancée Heather Arneecher and her daughter Shawna of Jay, Oklahoma, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Christ Church with Pastor Gerald Baser, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Butler Cemetery. Services were entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
