Grove, Ok. - Diane Lyn John, age 62, died Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Grove General Hospital. Diane's passing was sudden and unexpected. She was born on June 10, 1945 in Chanute, Kansas to James H. and Doris (Breedlove) John. She touched many lives wherever she went. Diane was co owner of Grand Graphics Printing for 14 years. She had been the Weight Watchers leader for Grove and Miami for 7 years. She had lost almost 100 pounds and managed to keep it off. She loved Weight Watchers and trying to help others lose weight and keep it off. Diane was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, and Grand Lake Association. She loved shopping, especially at Hobby Lobby, and she was a Disney movie collector. Diane had a very dynamic and outgoing personality. Survivors include her mother, Doris Breedlove Schwarz of Wichita, Kansas; her sisters, Phyllis Ulshaffer and Vicki Shue, both of Wichita, Kansas; her brother James John of Wichita, Kansas; her lifelong friend and business partner, Shirley Joyce; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, James H. John and her stepfather Anton E. Schwarz. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 6, 2007 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Grove. Burial will follow at Olympus Cemetery.Visitation will be Friday 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Church Building Fund. Family and friends may leave online condolences at www.honoringmemories.com. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
