Doice Blevins of Afton, Oklahoma died Monday, December 13, 2021, at Grandwood Assisted Living Center in Grove.  The son of Fred and Ollie Mae Atterberry Blevins, he was born on July 12, 1940, in Delaware County, OK.  Doice married Edna Ruth Bowan on Dec 17,1959 and she survives him.

Doice was a welder by trade, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to classic country music.  He liked to write poems.  Doice attended the Racine Apostolic Church.

Surviving are his wife Ruth, a sister Anita Blevins, 5 brothers Smokey, Fred, Earl (Hap), Darrell, and Gaylord, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and 2 brothers Glendale and Darrell Lee Blevins.

A visitation will be held from 3-5 PM, Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. The funeral will be at 2 PM on Monday December 20, 2021 in the First Baptist Church in Grove.  The burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
