Dolores Evelyn Graham, a beloved wife mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023, in Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on February 22, 1931, in Cement, Oklahoma.
Dolores was born as Dolores Evelyn Laubach and grew up alongside her brother David Laubach, Jr. She later married Charles Richard Graham, on December 31, 1949, and they were blessed with a marriage that lasted for an incredible seventy years before Charles passed away. Their love was an inspiration to all who knew them.
One of Dolores's proudest accomplishments was playing bluegrass music with her bass for over 40 years. Her musical talent brought joy to many people's lives and allowed her to express herself creatively. She also played in a family band and had the honor of performing for three governors.
Outside of music, Dolores enjoyed working for Jana Jae’s Gallery Southwest, and had various hobbies and interests that enriched her life. She had a passion for crochet and painted ceramics. Dolores also enjoyed going to garage sales, finding treasures along the way.
Dolores leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Elaine Kennedy, and husband Dee, of Dublin, California, and her son, Richard Wayne Graham, and wife Ruth Ann, of Grove, Oklahoma. Dolores's grandchildren include Shelley Kennedy, Ami Kennedy, Janette Taber, Jeffrey Graham, and his wife Lori. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Mikayla Pok, Katelyn Grissom, Evelyn Dempsey, Samantha Taber, and Nathan Graham. In addition to these precious grandchildren, Dolores had the joy of witnessing the birth of three great-great-grandchildren, Archie Pettit, Clark Pettit and Asher Dempsey.
Dolores will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her warm smile and gentle nature touched the lives of many. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts as we cherish the memories, we shared with her.
