Don Huffman

Don Huffman, age 71, a resident of Bernice, OK died Wednesday June 17, 2009 at his home in Bernice. He was born February 15, 1938 the son of Vern Huffman and Mildred Richardson Huffman. He was raised and received his educated in Coffeyville, Kansas where he graduated high school. He was lineman with Western Electric for many years then spent five years at Northern Telephone as an installer. He has lived in Bernice for the past eight years moving from Independence, Kansas. He enjoyed hunting especially deer, both bow and rifle seasons and cat fishing. Don is preceded in death by his daughter Vicki Miller, and longtime companion Becky Clark. Survivors include his two daughters January and husband Jon Burba of Hayesville, KS, Eugina and husband Jim Clark of Wichita, KS, eight grandchildren, Jessica Edwards, Michelle Ruddy, Christopher Mundt, April Jones, Dustin Roberts, John Burba, Joshua Burba, and Joel Burba, one great grand daughter Abagail Ruddy. Memorial services will be Monday June 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
