Donald Ray Rogers, age 77, Kansas, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021.
He was born May 30, 1943 in Leach, Oklahoma, to the late Owen Rogers and Stella Marie Lovette Rogers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patti Gordon; two daughter, Priscilla Diane Rogers and Lisa Marie Rogers; one great-grandson, Brett Rogers.
Don Served in the United States Army as a truckdriver. He drove trucks for over 45 years retiring from Anderson Produce Company. He enjoyed listening and playing bluegrass music.
He married Lena Turtle on May 5, 1975 in Miami, Ok, she survives of the home. Additional survivors include two sons, Chane Rogers and wife, Cheryl, and Dustin Rogers both of Kansas, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jennie Rogers, Salina, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kaden, Kaitlin, Brooke and Whitney; one great-grandchild; one brother, Jim Rogers and wife, Martha, Orange, Texas; and one sister, Cheryl Rogers, Jenks, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the Elm Cemetery, Leach, Oklahoma. Chaplain Terry Wofford will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma.
Graveside services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma.
