Donna Arrington

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Donna Jean (Holt) Arrington, 66, passed away on December 17, 2016 in Joplin, Missouri. Donna was born on January 14, 1950 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Lee Gus and Allie Ellen (Smith) Holt. Donna graduated from Pryor High School in 1968. Donna was the Assistant Manager of Sonic for 12 years; she also was a telemarketer for The Bears Den for 8 years. She liked tending to her flower beds and her vegetable gardens. Donna always had a song in her heart and loved singing and writing songs. She also enjoyed crocheting and was famous for her fantastic Fudge candy. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; Lee and Ellen Holt, one son; Eric Fry and one sister; Margie McMechan. She leaves behind her four sons; Lewis Fry and Ryan Fry both of Eucha, Oklahoma and Jason Fry and husband Rich Winlock of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Justin Arrington and Fiancée Christy Turner of Jay, Oklahoma, one daughter Sherry Carrello and her husband Pete of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Donna was blessed with fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Donna will be dearly missed by her two brothers Carroll Holt and wife Betty of Independence, Missouri and Gary Holt and wife Janie of Kingsville, Missouri, her two sisters Delores Hogner and husband Cotton of Grove, Oklahoma and Syvola Bowles of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Donna leaves behind her baby dog Popcorn. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm, Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Services are scheduled for 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Donna will be laid to rest in the Bluejacket Cemetery.
